Personal Statement
I have used interdisciplinary approaches to make groundbreaking discoveries in refinery catalysis for the elongation of platinum catalyst lifetime, the equation of state modification resulting in applications in predictive stability criteria for multiphase, multicomponent chemical systems, and to fluid systems at very high pressures and temperatures prevalent in reservoir fluids. Novel Leak detection technology using Liapunov stability criteria, Navier-Stokes momentum balance equation, and the Prandtl correlation for turbulent shear stress, derived a criterion for detecting leaks in any network of pipelines transporting gas or liquid, storage tanks of processing systems, and transport of blood in the human arterial network. Pioneering research in the biomedical engineering area on sickle cell disease, epilepsy, diabetes, stroke, and hypertension. Works on cancer research, computational catalysis, and nanotechnology are the new research focus in our laboratory.
