  1. Personal Statement

I am an academic researcher and lecturer in the department of Biomedical Engineering with a few years’ experience in the automobile and communication industry before joining academia.  This practical background allows me to bring real life examples and applied knowledge into the classroom, bridging theory and practice for students. With a strong background in mechanical engineering including CAD modelling, I focus on creating innovative solutions that improve patient mobility and healthcare outcomes.  I conduct research on biomechanics and heat transfer and collaborate on projects involving medical devices design and technology, combining engineering expertise with medical applications. Moreover, I teach courses like Introduction to Clinical Engineering, Computer Aided Design and Drafting, and Biomedical Devices Manufacturing Processes and eHealth and mHealth, which helps me to integrate engineering research with real-world healthcare solutions-empowering students through innovation and advocacy in biomedical technologies. I am dedicated to advancing the field of biomedical engineering through both teaching and research, contributing significantly to the development of new devices and methodologies in healthcare.
