A. Personal Statement
Agbeleye joined the service of the University of Lagos in 2007 as a Graduate Assistant during his MSc. programme and was fully employed in February 2010 as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. He is presently a Senior Lecturer in the same department. Agbeleye is an accomplished and focused professional with demonstrated experience in equipment and devise processes for manufacturing products; Recognized for professionalism, positive mental attitude, commitment to excellence and demonstrated ability to communicate and working with senior management, associates and customers; Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure; Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers at all levels. Agbeleye is a registered Metallurgical Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); a member of The Nigerian Institution of Metallurgical, Mining and Materials a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and Nigerian Corrosion Association. Outside the University of Lagos, Agbeleye was a Visiting Research Assistant at the Institute of Functional Surfaces, School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom (Jan.-Dec., 2014). He is also presently a Resident Minister at the Chapel of the Transfiguration, School of Nursing, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos. Agbeleye has to his credit over twenty-one (21) publications in reputable local and international journals and referred conference proceedings.
