- Personal Statement
I am a researcher, civil engineer and a passionate advocate for sustainable construction practices. My research focuses on the development of sustainable infrastructure and construction materials, the re-use of construction waste in concrete production, and the development of geopolymer concrete and mortar. I am a member of the Female Academic Leadership Network for Conscious Engineering and Science Towards Sustainable Urbanisation (FALCONESS), which brings together young female scientists from many disciplines and around the world to promote more sustainable construction in Africa. Through my work, I aim to contribute to the development of sustainable infrastructure and promote eco-friendly construction solutions.
