A. Personal Statement<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Emmanuel Ayodele is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. His thesis is on the application of Bluetooth wireless communication and technological approaches to intelligent traffic monitoring and management. In his work, he developed a model termed TRAFOST for traffic metrics estimation. The focus of his research interest is in geomatics applications to intelligent transport systems (ITS) that include traffic management, autonomic navigation and intelligent mobility, UAV-based surveillance, positioning and mapping, sustainable transport systems, data science\/analytics and geospatial modelling. His broad-based background has been applied in solving many problems ranging from engineering surveying and construction, hydrography, coastal erosion and flooding mitigation, geophysical prospecting, traffic management and road safety. He has actively collaborated and participated in different successfully completed projects such as the hydrographic and geoid components of the \u201cLagos State GIS and Mapping Project\u201d and the computation of \u201cGeoid for Nigeria\u201d using a combination of satellite-derived and terrestrial data. He has also initiated a number of projects such as \u201cInterLaWT\u201d \u2013 Intermodal Land and Water Transit for traffic management, and \u201cSAFER-U\u201d \u2013 Safety Awareness For Every Road – Users. Dr. Ayodele\u2019s motto is \u201cService with Integrity\u201d with a commitment to contribute significantly to solving the problems of humanity.<\/span><\/p>
