A. Personal Statement<\/b><\/span><\/p>

I am an academic, researcher, and professional engineer passionate about advancing electrical and electronics engineering, particularly in artificial intelligence, smart grid systems, renewable energy, sustainability and environment. With less than two decades of experience, my career has focused on translating theoretical knowledge into practical innovations that address societal and environmental challenges. My doctoral research contributed significantly to the development of sustainable and intelligent energy infrastructures. As a visiting scholar at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, MI, USA, and ERISE (ENERGY RELIABILITY & SECURITY) Research Laboratory USA., I worked with global experts to explore AI applications in grid resilience. This experience broadened my interdisciplinary perspective and enhanced my capacity to solve complex energy challenges.<\/span><\/p>

I support research and innovation in digital technologies and artificial super intelligence. I have contributed to several high-impact research projects, including the co-development of a patented smartphone application that mitigates musculoskeletal risks in undergraduates with smartphone addiction. This innovation exemplifies my commitment to multidisciplinary problem-solving, merging healthcare and engineering. Beyond research, I am deeply invested in mentoring and capacity building. I have supervised postgraduate students and led workshops in AI, intelligent systems, and energy management, empowering young professionals to develop technology-driven solutions to African development issues.<\/span><\/p>

As the global community grapples with climate change, energy insecurity, and food system vulnerability, I aim to deepen my impact through collaboration with academic institutions, industry, and policymakers. My vision is to champion scalable, interdisciplinary innovations that enhance resilience, improve quality of life, and drive sustainable development across Africa and beyond. I am active member of several reputable professional bodies, including The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE).<\/span><\/p>
