My research interest is focused on using my expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and heat transfer to design and optimize the efficiency of thermal and fluid engineering equipment. Also, I use CFD and other digital tools to facilitate and enhance engineering education. During my PhD study at the University of Pretoria, I developed a novel heat sink model that combines microchannels with micro pin-fins for microelectronic cooling. My passion for inspiring more girls to take up careers in engineering motivated me to join the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as a professional member in 2019. In collaboration with other SWE Professionals, I established SWE UNILAG collegiate on campus which has grown from 30 members in 2021 to almost 200 members. Also, I have been involved STEM outreaches to secondary schools where girls have been introduced to additive manufacturing, python programming and industry tours. I have also led teams to organize student innovation challenges and partnerships<\/p>\n
