I am a senior researcher in highway and traffic engineering or transportation engineering. Specifically, I am exploring the suitability and quantity of waste (agricultural and industrial) materials in road pavement design and construction. My recent investigations encompass lateritic soil, asphalt and concrete evaluation. I have also evaluated the possibility of using non-motorized transportation and to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation industry. I have evaluated the accident rates on Nigeria’s most important highway and investigated the ease of assessing a remote area in Nigeria with reference to the origin and destination, and time and distance for the journeys.<\/p>
