Personal Profile

As an astute lecturer and grant award-winning researcher with over twenty three years of experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, I have mentored over 90 undergraduates, six M.Sc., and 2 Ph.D. theses and currently mentoring three Ph.D. and three M.Sc. students. I have co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters; reviewed for several peer-reviewed prestigious journals, a conference, and a grant application. I served as external/international and internal assessor for M.Sc./M.Tech. (South Africa), dissertations and Ph.D. theses. My research group engages in sustainable and applied research that have the potentials to be translated into product.
